Who am I?
Greetings! I am Laura Simmons-Larsen, also known as The Hyphen, a nickname bestowed upon me due to (of course) my hyphenated name.
My passion for writing and travel drove me to create this site as a path to share stories, photos, useful travel tips - as well as how my travels influence my daily life at home. My goal is to inspire others while revealing the sights, smells, and sounds of my experiences on the road.

Although I'm the writing brains of this outfit, my travel (and life) partner, Craig Larsen, is the photography captain of the ship. We've been sailing through life together for over 20 years and enjoying every new adventure together.
